Up bright and early, Late Date exited Bayport Marina at 8 AM with two most excellent friends, Rick and Barb, aboard for the first two days. The temp this morning was 45F and just knowing that the morning temp in Fernandina was 77F was motivating.

The goal for the first day is Wabasha, MN. The water level was high and the current was moving 5 mph. We would have been in around 4PM but made it in at 5:30PM since we had a wait an hour at Prescott for the bridge to open.
