We found out that the starboard impeller was not broken but has scoring in the brass housing. This prevented adequate water flow which in turn caused the overheating problem. Of course, this means that just replacing the impeller rotor will not correct the problem so the mechanic ordered a new impeller pump from Mercury.  It is to be delivered first thing Tuesday morning and repairs should be completed mid-afternoon.

We have another but final crew change tomorrow afternoon since this team intends to go all the way to Florida. Colin, Bob and Brett will need to make up time because fall is definitely in the air!
